shhhh...... secret garden dozing in the sun.

So it's meant to be quiet in here. Just me and the flowers and the birdies. No loud noises! No shoes either. This is a bare foot blog.

If you want to do a little humming, whistling, chanting or lute playing that's OK. So are smiles. And cicadas.

This is such a busy time of year and I need a rest. Hmm... need some trees in here to string a hammock. Some big smooth rocks too, for baking in the sun. And a wall. A stone wall with a rusty iron gate. Some jasmine. No. Not jasmine, mandevilia. That's better.

Tomorrow I start the weekend promoting permaculture to the masses. Again. At this rate I'll be worm food before I can blink. Tell them I plan to be buried here. After the birdies have had a decent feed. Can't waste good food.

Now.

When I get a minute I'll be here planting and tending and breathing my garden. And napping. So if you do pop in, bring a pillow.

How fine the air smells today!

Hooray for spring and things that grow! And warm rain!

Hooray for all the little green babies stretching out their rootlets in the warm soil, and for having a minute to smile at them and tuck them in with a blanket of compost and a seaweed shower. Soon we'll all be putting out flowers in the sun and getting tickled by the bees.

Hmmm, must go talk to the plumping almonds.
